Kim Sung Soo at Doosan Gallery, MUSE Features

July marks the first anniversary for The Doosan Gallery, http://www.doosangallery.com, as their champagne moments are highlighted by showcasing the Eight of aspiring grandmaster Sung Soo Kim's dynamic and innovative creatures, which are rendered as sculptures.  Experience the enchanting works through July 10th, south of Chelsea Piers. The resplendent enamel coatings, or exoskeletons rather, emanate the grace that belongs to our adventurous summers. Don't be fooled when you break a bead of sweat climbing up the ladders stuck to the walls, since it was meant for you be in his shoes--well, triggering discomfort and to be in awe with the twisting of your own body, at the very least! Without further adieu, just go and have a look yourselves, in the company of your beloved ones.

The MUSE offerings, thanks to Sung Soo, via VISE cannot be more eventful. We wish the artist well on his upcoming pipeline of projects, and love to congratulate him for his wedding! He is expected to be caught in the VISE again after the honeymoon, so let's also anticipate his return.   Source for the first set of photos:  http://www.sungsookim.com/  (rest is snapped by Shoutle Media). Very quickly, Sung Soo holds a BFA and two MFAs, respectively from Hongik University and The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Works have been on display in Chicago (ie, The Union Street Gallery, among others), Paris (ie, Galerie Etienne de Causans), Seoul, Cairo, back to MI,  and now NYC.

A Glance into the Mid-Summer Night, VISE Dream

No surprises! But, the Governator, Monsiur Schwarzenegger was in the call of duty in NYC for the Clean Economy Network. The busybody in the frame of a body-builder had a great heart with a hunger for true passion.  Some previews of Bonobos founder, Brian Spaly and the Swiss Clean Tech shindig hosted by the Swiss Consulate in NYC. Other photos to come for a full gallery later on, as this is just a sneak preview, include Jimmy Wales (founder of anything Wiki, namely Wikimedia and Wikipedia) talk with the Harvardians, Princeton Reunion and the 14th Annual Princeton Entrepreneurship Network Conference, and other shindig-like events hosted by members of NYU, Columbia, Yale and the "Fast Forward Fund." Enjoy!
